from what I understand 4 teams are droped (betsy lane letcher lee grundy)I think those are right, and ervinton does not want to play us. And we are having a difficult time finding games. Why?

JIB Appy pound kelly coeburn twin springs castlewood and st paul dont want to play us. Again why ? Espically JIB and Appy those would be great games.

I personally dont want to see us play KY and WV teams unless they are good but we will likley pick us some pretty bad teams.

Can someone explain this to me

Think about it. First of all, IF Haysi does drop to Div 1 next year then these teams would recieve fewer power points for the game (win or lose). Second Haysi has had some good success the last few years and alot of teams will not play the upper tier teams.

i think if haysi is droppin to div 1 they sure dont need to weaken their schedule if they can help it. letcher give them a pretty good run this time .

I think all of the teams are droping us the only one I want to see us drop is Betsy lane we get almost nothing from the game except a few power points but the game does not make us better. I can understand a lot of the schools not wanting to play us because we are haveing a good run but what about JI Burton and Appalachia? Are we that good? those two dont make sense, I understand why Grundy is droping us they are D3 how does it help them to play a D1 if we drop but lee will be D2 next year and like you said the letcher game was pretty close everyone talks about us playing a weak schedule well those seem to be the only schools that will play us

    <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Some problems with that argument.

    1. Haysi isn't a "D1" anymore - they're an A. New ratings scale for next year doesn't use Divisions.

    2. It helps Grundy because it is/was/should be a competative game, which is always good, win or lose, and it makes them more money than playing Carroll Co. or a KY team because more visitors pay to get in.

As much trouble as we've had getting games the past few years, I'm surprised about thedrop. On the other hand, this isn't like a long term rivalry - heck, the only reason we played the past 2 years is because we were both a game short a month beore the season started and had the same open date.

The Grundy/Haysi game is beneficial for both teams. Can't understand at all why Grundy wouldn't want to continue this series. Haysi is much more likely to bring big power points than the Ky teams or the Wv teams or Hurley/TV etc...Its a very local game for both teams which will provide nice gates for both. Only thing I can figure is Grundy thinks of it as a game they are likely to lose so thus they will get few power points more often than not. Another good reason to continue the series is Grundy's eventual move into the BDD which has to be a foredrawn conclusion at some point with all the bigger schools moving down to group A(Va High, Lee High and probably soon to be Tazewell, Graham, Grundy and even eventually Richlands)

helper what do you mean no divisions I know its not going to be a straight 3A system

also remember im not sure those are the teams droping us but I think so

any VA teams we could play I would like to see us play lebanon graham tazewell

when those teams drop will they join the BDD or just form a new district

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">He means that there will no longer be a 1 point differance in beating/loseing to a Div1 school as opposed to a Div2 school same thing for Div3/4 or Div 5/6 there will still be a Differance between A/AA/AAA

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Appy and Burton's out of district schedules are pathetic. Burton playing Rye Cove, Saint Paul, and Castlewood is like a few years ago when Honaker played a Cumberland heavy schedule
